About Dan
A Teamster Through and Through
Dan Sneddon has spent more than two decades fighting for the Pilots of Republic Airways — at the airport, at the bargaining table, 3 Mergers, and in every grievance hearing that mattered.
Who Is Dan Sneddon?
Dan Sneddon grew up in a union household. His father was a Steel Mill Shop Steward, and his Grandfather was a Steel Mill Superintendent. He heard the "discussions" across the dinner table at family meals.
Dan joined Teamsters Local 357 over twenty years ago and has never looked back. He first got into Union work in 2001 after successfully campaigning against the Tentative Agreement between the Company and Union. After 9/11 he ran for the First Officer Rep position on the then Executive Council.
Over the years, Dan has served as a Grievance Committee Chairman, Strike Preparation Committee Chairman, Negotiations Committee Chairman, Merger Committee Chairman, Contract Compliance Administrator, and Local 357 Trustee. He's running for Secretary/Treasurer because he believes Local 357 deserves the best.
